  • 2011 Claudia Cuvée $32.00 $25.60 Sold Out
    Claudia Cuvée

    2011 Claudia Cuvée

Unfiltered and delightfully unadulterated, Claudia Cuvée will continue to evolve and should age as well as the finest white wines of Chateauneuf-du-Pape and St.-Joseph. In an early tasting, this Marsanne showed lovely poached pear aromatics with grilled bread and warm brown spice. Custardy lemon notes add a vibrant attraction to the nose. The palate is exceptionally integrated, where the fruit marries perfectly with the oak and rich, brulee-like flavors dominate. The plushness carries through to the smooth, toasty tones of the finish.

  • 2010 GSM $38.00 $30.40 Sold Out

    2010 GSM

With 45% Grenache, 30% Mourvedre, and 25% Syrah, these three varieties that shine at Alta Colina vineyard create a blended wine with a gorgeous and complex nose.  Cherry, strawberry, and dried rose petal aromas come together with oiled leather and berry thicket, leading to a very bright, fruit-forward mouth.  Smoky oak flavors emphasize the velvety tannin and hint at cocoa and black pepper.   The wine’s exceptional balance progresses nicely to a clean finish, both mineral and fruity.

    Block 2 Bio Syrah

    2010 Block 2 Bio Syrah

Block 2 makes up half of the Toasted Slope and, for the first time, we’ve chosen to bottle a small sub-section of that block as a standalone. Block 2 Bio has been farmed hyper-organically since we planted it in 2005. In 2010 we felt it is an especially unique expression of what Alta Colina Vineyard can produce and we didn’t want to lose that by blending it into the Toasted Slope. This wine is leaner in style than its counterpart and deserves a chance to show itself.

  • 2010 Old 900 Syrah $48.00 $38.40

    2010 Old 900 Syrah

Old 900 shows the earthier, more old-world side of Syrah, with concentrated fruit, violet, and turned-earth aromas. Oak is judiciously applied and beautifully integrated, lending a smoky and cocoa-like nuance to the wine’s tight-knit fruit. Full-bodied yet possessing seamless acid balance, the mouth is as focused as the nose and finishes with dusty plum notes.

  • 2011 Ann's Block Petite Sirah (2 btl. limit) Members Only $48.00 $38.40

2011 Ann's Block Petite Sirah (2 btl. limit)

The 2011 Ann’s Block may stain your stemware! As this Vineyard block continues pushing its root system deeper into the shallow rocky soils it is becoming more and more concentrated. Upon popping the cork you will be greeted with heavy aromas of ripe blackberries and hints of creamy vanilla. If you possess the willpower, with a day or two of air exposure these aromas will soften into those of delicate dried flowers. The wine is showing some youthful exuberance on the finish in the form of slightly rambunctious tannin. If you choose to open this wine before 2016, we recommend opening the bottle a few hours before serving.

    Drink now through 2022.
